Need To Fix Sagging Plaster? Ceilings Or Walls, You CAN Fix Plaster
The prospect of having to fix sagging plaster causes many homeowners a royal headache.
But now there is a solution to this kind of plaster problem that is simple and elegant.
One ordinary way to deal with plaster that has sagged or bulged (come loose from the wood lath support) is to remove the plaster and replace with new plaster or thin drywall. Some folks may regard this as more complicated than what they want to mess with.
That’s why this solution is attractive. You can do your plaster ceiling repair without the mess of removing the old plaster. You simply reattach it to the lath with glue.
This new approach to plaster repairs can make life easier for the DIY homeowners who have older plastered houses. I recently stumbled across this new method for plaster wall and ceiling-repair that has impressed me, and many others, and so I want to pass it along to you.

One quick note: if you have watched the video, I would suggest one further step. Instead of only one coat of joint compound to fill the cracks and screw holes, do at least two - to take up the shrinkage that occurs with the first coat.
